Altötting, a well-known destination for pilgrims in Bavaria, and Neuötting in its neighbourhood have almost become one town by now. The drinking-water supply of local inhabitants and guests is provided independently in both towns. To save costs the towns have recently set up a common alert system and apply DigiTerra Explorer in this project.

DigiTerra Explorer 6 is now fully compatible with Magellan MobileMapper 6 GSPDifferential module for cost-effective post processing. With the GPSDifferential module for the MobileMapper 6, sub-meter mapping is easy to achieve, even where real-time corrections are not available. The GPSDifferential module for the MobileMapper 6 is a software option that has been integrated into the new version of DigiTerra Explorer 6 to provide sub-meter performance for DigiTerra Explorer users working with a MobileMapper 6 device.
