Approaching to the end of 2010, this is to give you an update about the latest developments we have performed to make DigiTerra Explorer even more attractive. The new release with the following enhancements will be available in January:
Online background maps- Geoid models
- Merge of map layers
- Automatic EXIF storage: capture coordinates on handheld GPS receivers with built-in camera
- Enhanced stake out function for surveyors
- Enhanced surveying functions, easier data capture with laser range finder
- Enhanced polygon delineation - topological editing tool
- Enhanced stability and user-friendly solutions
All these features will be available in version 6, there is no need to buy an upgrade. Nevertheless, prices from January will be higher. If you wish to use the richer functionality without paying more, simply purchase new licences or upgrade from version 5 not later than 23 December, since our office will be closed for Christmas and New Year!
Also from next year, customers can extend the functionality of the Professional version, by purchasing additional modules for special jobs. Individual solutions for the following tasks will be available soon:
- Tree surveying module
- Botanical data collection and analysis module
